Roderick Nairn established Woodpecker Designs in 1997 after training at Sparsholt College, Hampshire.
Since founding the business, he has gained experience with a wide range of scales, soil types, and styles together with many diverse clients.
His philosophy is to listen carefully to a clients requirements and interpret them in a way that reflects their lifestyle, personalities and budget.
Roderick uses bold designs and materials appropriate to the site to integrate the house into the garden and the garden into its surroundings. Fluid planting softens this bold underlying structure to create gardens with a sense of place.
